Mental Health & Incapacity
Members of the Mental Health & Incapacity Team provide advice in respect of persons involuntarily detained under the Mental Health Act, in relation to disputes over medical treatment, residence and contact and in cases where there is uncertainty over a person’s capacity to manage their personal and financial affairs.
We appear in proceedings before the Court of Protection and the Mental Health Tribunal.
“Having worked with Invictus Chambers for some time, it is clear that they are an outstanding set. The clerking team often receive my last-minute instructions which are always dealt with the utmost professionalism, care and skill.
All of the barristers I have had the pleasure of working with, have taken a genuine interest in the case and the outcome for the client. They are my first-choice set, providing supportive and reliable advice” – Faye Dyke, MTG Solicitors
